On November 16, 2024, the Norwich University AI Center, in collaboration with Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI), hosted a unique one-day event focused on "AI and Humanitarian Disaster Response" for high school students and new Norwich students hoping to learn about AI, all inspired by a challenge from Vermont Senator Peter Welch.

Norwich University will observe Veterans Day by conducting a Corps of Cadets review in honor of all veterans, past and present. The reviewing officer and guest speaker will be U.S. Army Brigadier General Matt Braman, Director, Army Aviation for Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7, Norwich University Class of 1995.

Another successful Homecoming was enjoyed on The Hill.

The shared bonds formed by students and families who believe in Captain Alden Partridge’s vision run deep; often, these bonds are forged throughout generations in families.

Norwich University’s School of Architecture + Art kicks off the 2024-25 academic year with presentations on Friday, September 20, at 1 p.m. in Chaplin Hall Gallery. The series is free and open to the public.

Vice Adm. John Gumbleton participated in several outreach events at his alma mater, Norwich University Sept. 18. Commander, Task Force 80 and Deputy Commander, U.S. FleeT Forces Command, Gumbleton conducted executive engagement with the President of Norwich University, met with the Peace and War Center, and Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) students.

Norwich University cadets continuously walk the Tour Strip and honor 9/11 victims alongside their classmates and the local Northfield community.

The training and exercise were prepared and run by Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) with a focus on a multi-jurisdictional response event.

The Vermont Mountaineers hosted a special Norwich Night on Friday, July 5th.
