Dear Classmates—
Circle your calendar and make plans to join the Class of 1980 for a fun, exciting, and nostalgic Homecoming Weekend September 18-21. Our 45 years since graduation—and 49 years since arriving on campus—are amazing milestones to celebrate. Homecoming reminds us we are all one class. Regardless of whether you were a pinhead or buck, a jock, engineer or Zoobie, when we gather at our class dinner there is pure delight in reconnecting.
Homecoming registration opens July 1. New this year is a Friday night All-Class Party in Plumley Armory. Since our reunion was postponed five years ago due to COVID, the Alumni Office is planning a special night, complete with dancing, cocktails and food trucks. On Saturday our reunion dinner will be at Sugarbush. I encourage you to make your lodging reservations now. Other schedule details to follow.
Our class gift is a chance to pay it forward and support the next generation of Norwich leaders. Right now our nation desperately needs more Norwich men and women. Principled leaders with values, honor, integrity and perseverance are always in short supply—something Norwich has been turning out since 1819.

Our committee has set a goal to raise $3,500,000 with at least 60% participation. In honor of our 45th reunion, we are asking you to contribute to the next generation of Norwich graduates by supporting the Norwich Fund.

A highlight of Homecoming Weekend is the recognition of alumni who have made significant contributions to Norwich, their community and their profession. Homecoming 2025 will honor distinguished alumni with the annual NUAA Awards, NU2NU Award, and induction into the NU Athletics Hall of Fame.
