About

Major Jared Taylor is the education officer and assistant professor for Air Force ROTC Detachment 867 at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont. He recruits, trains, evaluates and motivates highly qualified men and women as prospective officers and instructs the sophomore-level course on Air Force leadership studies and field training preparation.

Major Taylor entered active duty in November 2009, attending Combat System Officer training at Pensacola, Florida. He graduated in July 2011 with B-52s being his next assignment.

He graduated from Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. He has more than 11 years of active-duty service and is now an assistant professor of aerospace sciences at Norwich University.

Before his current position, Taylor was an instructor at the undergraduate combat systems officer schoolhouse on Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola Florida.
