LT Andrew Kline

Lieutenant Andrew M. Kline was assigned as the Nuclear Power Officer at Norwich University in November 2021. He teaches Ship Systems I and II, and prepares MIDN interested in the Nuclear Navy community for their qualification interviews and future responsibilities.
Lieutenant Kline was born and lived in Southeastern Connecticut. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester NY, where he graduated with honors and earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2017.
Lieutenant Kline attended Nuclear Power School, Charleston SC, from August 2017 – March 2018. Upon completion, he reported to the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit in Ballston Spa, NY followed by Submarine Officer Basic Course in Groton, CT. Lieutenant Kline received orders to the USS Nebraska (SSBN 739 Gold) and reported to Bangor Washington, January 2019. There, he served as the Chemistry and Radiological Assistant and the Assistant Weapons Officer qualifying Submarines Fall of 2020.
