About
Charles Snow joined Norwich University faculty in 2019, following a one-year appointment as a visiting professor. In his career in higher education, he has taught computer science, networking, and courses that examine the social and legal effects of using these technologies.
Professor Snow earned his Ph.D. at McGill University in the area of computer speech recognition. His work since then, apart from teaching and academic administration, has focused on the effective application of technology to teaching, both in the developed and developing worlds. At Norwich he intends to explore augmented reality and some of its many applications, including use in teaching.
He lives in Northfield with his wife and two cats. When not working on Norwich activities, he pursues hobby interests in reading, all things audio/visual (audio recording, photography), and zymurgy.
