Vice Adm. John Gumbleton Visits Norwich University During New England Outreach

Vice Adm. John Gumbleton participated in several outreach events at his alma mater, Norwich University Sept. 18. Commander, Task Force 80 and Deputy Commander, U.S. FleeT Forces Command, Gumbleton conducted executive engagement with the President of Norwich University, met with the Peace and War Center, and Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) students.

Norwich University receives National Science Foundation Grant

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Norwich University a grant in excess of $5,300,000 for cybersecurity research, education, and training. This generous funding, allocated over the next five years, enables Norwich to offer scholarships to students that will enhance learning and research opportunities into cybersecurity threats, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through an integrated B.S./M.S. program.
