Shapiro Field House
Shapiro Field House spans 50,000 square feet and features a 200-meter indoor running track, four tennis courts and a climbing wall. It is home to the Norwich tennis team. The multipurpose building opened in 1987 and is used by all spring athletic teams for early season practices and as a venue for Commencement, concerts, and other university functions. The Norwich Corps of Cadets and ROTC conduct physical training in Shapiro.

Commencement Ceremony
The Class of 2025 will soon gather for Commencement Weekend at Norwich University, taking place in the Shapiro Field House on the Northfield, Vermont campus. This event will recognize graduates from both bachelor's and master's programs, including those from residential and online formats, marking the completion of their academic efforts. The ROTC Joint Commissioning ceremony will also be held, acknowledging the commissioning of new leaders. This weekend will bring together past and present graduates to reflect on their hard work and the Norwich community’s traditions.
