Lift House Logo

Lift House is an affordable, sustainable home for underserved local Vermonters that promotes both contemporary and authentic architectural values. With an interior space of 280 square feet, this high performance tiny house is meant to be more than just a shelter: it is a space space and a home. Entering through the kitchen, one encounters a living / dining space with accommodations for a couch and table. Included in the bathroom, there is a washer and dryer, and walk-in shower. The bedroom is designed to have a queen-sized bed, a full-sized closet, and an ambulance of natural light. With its proposed orientation, Lift House could achieve Net Zero energy use with the installation of photovoltaic array on its sloped roof.
