Class Reunion Gifts

Remember: Homecoming Weekend is
Oct. 1–4, 2009!

Captain Alden Partridge founded Norwich University to graduate engineers, surveyors, business leaders, and citizen soldiers who would expand and strengthen the young American republic.

Nearly two centuries later, Norwich remains true to Partridge’s vision, educating young women and men dedicated to serving their nation and others before self.

Tuition alone is not enough to sustain Partridge’s “American system of education.” Financial gifts from alumni and friends are critical to support the vision of our founder.

The class reunion gift is one of the opportunities you have to support that vision.

If you graduated from Norwich in a year ending with a 4 or 9, 2009 is a reunion year for you. Don’t wait. Join your class in showing your support today.

Gifts and pledges received by Norwich University from you and your classmates by Homecoming 2009 will count toward your class gift and participation totals. Donors to the class reunion effort are listed in the Norwich University Annual Report, which recognizes gifts received by the University between June 1 and May 31 each year. Gifts and pledges of more than $1,000 may also be eligible for naming opportunities and Partridge Society membership.

A Volunteer Gift Committee, supported by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, oversees the reunion gift effort for each reunion class. To find out which of your classmates are serving on this committee or to learn more about reunion giving, contact Tracey Poirier at 802.485.2308 or tpoirier@norwich.edu.

Most reunion classes maintain a class webpage. Visit the Norwich Family Online Community’s Class Pages section to see if your class has a page.

The class reunion gift is a source of pride for many reunion classes. In the spirit of friendly competition, we track how classes compare to one another in their fundraising efforts based on class participation rates. It’s time to raise the bar for your reunion class!
