Is Norwich Right for Me?
You’ve thrived in the classroom and on the athletic field. You’ve volunteered your time to help those who are less fortunate. You’re seeking the amenities of a large university combined with the environment and personalization of a small college. You aspire to be a leader in your field, whether you envision yourself as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or the CEO of a Fortune 500 Company.
Rigorous Academics
With 28 academic majors, we have a path to suit any student’s ambitions. Our 14:1 faculty-student ratio and an average class size of 15 students allows for an unlimited amount of personal attention. Our students are more than numbers—their professors know them on a first-name basis. Our faculty members are professionals in their respective fields and provide practical knowledge in the classroom as well as the theoretical foundation that goes behind it. Students are engaged through interactive projects and hands-on field experience.
Endless Opportunities
Our students are “participators.” More than 90 percent participate in one or more of our 18 varsity sports, three club sports or unlimited intramural teams, and most all of our students participate in at least two student activities, clubs or organizations. Community service, mentoring and volunteering are a way of life at Norwich. The vast majority of our students volunteer their time to worthy causes on a regular basis.
Are you Norwich?
Norwich is not for everyone. If you are looking for a large, urban university where you can sleep all day and party all night, we are not the right place for you. However, if you want a structured environment that emphasizes academic success, athletic achievement and leadership development, Norwich may be the best place for you to spend the next four years of your life.
