The Future Leader Camp (FLC) is a two-week summer program dedicated to developing the leadership potential of current high school students. FLC provides participants with a challenging and meaningful adventure camp experience while building an understanding of small group leadership techniques, leadership ethics, teamwork, problem-solving and effective communication.

FLC is not a military-style boot camp for students with disciplinary problems. Qualified applicants will hold minimum 2.5 GPA and, although not required, should be able to demonstrate involvement in leadership-driven organizations such as Junior ROTC, Civil Air Patrol, Sea Cadets, student government, athletics, scouting and school, church, community or volunteer organizations.

Mission Statement: To enable dedicated youths to become decisive, caring and disciplined leaders in a challenging environment and to instill confidence and courage through hands-on adventure, survival and physical training, while fostering in each the moral integrity and flawless character required of responsible citizens and future leaders.

Leadership is the special quality which enables people to stand up and pull the rest of us over the horizon.
