Working With Your Admissions Counselor

By Janna Schmid, Assistant Director of Regional Recruitment

Who is your Admissions Counselor at Norwich University? Your Admissions Counselor is assigned to you based on academic interest or your geographic location.  Their job is to work with you and your family throughout the admissions process to guide you in your college search and to help you decide if Norwich University will be the best fit for you academically, socially and financially.

Your Admissions Counselor is your best resource.  They will be monitoring you on an individual basis, maintaining your application materials and reviewing your file.  After your Admissions Counselor reviews your file they will make a recommendation on your overall qualifications and fit at Norwich University.  This is why constant communication is essential during the application process.

We will do our best to accommodate you and your busy schedule.  Here are some great ways to keep in contact with your counselor: phone, e-mail, and AOL Instant Messenger.  Your counselor’s contact information can be found on the counselor’s page. We will be contacting you once per month but please do not hesitate to initiate contact regarding any questions or concerns you may have during this process.

As Norwich University Admissions Counselors our focus is to guide you throughout this complicated process.  We understand that this is a big commitment and one of the most difficult decisions in your young adult life.  Take advantage of our availability to work with you and your family.  We look forward to hearing from you!
