Johnathon, a Florida native in his junior year who is rapidly developing ties to the New England community, is a double major in environmental science and geology.
He recently completed work as a Summer Research Fellow studying the granitic rocks of the Maidstone pluton in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. His project will be presented at the Vermont Geological Society spring meeting. Johnathon is a Corps student serving as Platoon Sergeant in Band Company this year.
This program is special because the professors at NU are extremely dedicated, and will go to the ends of the Earth (so to speak) to make sure you understand the material.

He his eye on an officer’s commission with the Navy, and recently completed a cruise at Little Creek, Va.
